September 2016 | Paint The Town Chic
New York & Company Blouse | Lauren Conrad Pants (similar here) | Booties, old | Ross Crossbody (purchased in store) | RSA_Studios Earrings c/o | Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lippie in Beetroot c/o

As soon as I saw this blouse online, I knew I had to have it.  I was drawn to the gorgeous floral design, and the colors really evoke feelings of fall!  The details are what make the blouse so unique.  The mock neck detail with the cutout is just so beautiful and on trend right now, and the lace trim added a little something extra without being distracting.  I paired it with my favorite black denim for an event I attended today, but am now on the lookout for a mustard skirt.  I think the mustard would bring out some of the colors on the shirt.

In case you haven't noticed yet, black and brown is one of my favorite color combos for fall.  I recently posted these camel colored earrings from RSA Studios (check out the post here) and I couldn't resist wearing them again today.  They are so beautiful!

Black Lace Up Tee c/o (size up!) | Express Mini Skirt, old | Booties, old | Lemons & Limes Boutique Leopard Clutch (purchased via Facebook, but love this too!) | RSA Studios Earrings c/o

One of my favorite fall combos is brown and black!  It's such a classic combo and looks great on everyone!  I got this suede mini last year, but was looking for some new tops to go with it.  When I came across this laced black shirt, I had to give it a try.  I love that it's very fitted, so it looks great under skirts (it's a great option for anyone not wanting to wear bodysuits!)  This shirt also seems very slimming, it's definitely a must have staple for fall.  The only thing I didn't love is the laces, they are so long.  I solved that by tying it around my neck, giving it an interesting twist for the neckline (no necklace needed!)

No look is complete without accessories, and I snagged this leopard clutch during a recent Labor Day sale.  It's huge...it'll definitely be my Mary Poppins clutch.  Leopard is one of my favorite prints for fall!  I also love these leather earrings from RSA Studios.  Not only are these the perfect statement piece, they are so lightweight so they don't hurt my ears.  RSA Studios has a huge selection of colors/prints and many shapes to chose from.  I love this textured camel shade, which again is a favorite color for fall!  It's also helps that the owner, Rebecca, is so friendly!

Finally a huge shoutout to Princess from Hush Salon, who got my locks fall ready today.  If you're in the Philly area and looking to change up your look with a new cut or color (and score an amazing deal) send me an email and I'll get you the hookup!

Lilly Pulitzer Alexandra Dress, old | ZooShoo Mary Janes in Gray (also comes in black and nude) | Clutch, old

Every now and then a Lilly Pulitzer print comes along that you fall in love with.  For me it happened to be Southern Charm.  While the original pink background is gorgeous, I'm really loving the navy for fall/winter.  The Alexandra style is so flattering for all body types and I highly recommend getting it if it comes out in other prints, I know I'll be grabbing more.  I can't wait to pair the dress with tall brown boots, but this time I wanted to dress it up a bit with these Mary Janes!

Speaking of these Mary Janes, I got these from Amazon and they are so cute!  I'm really impressed with the quality and the price point is so affordable at under $35!  Not only are they stylish, but they are pretty comfy (I stuck with my normal size!)  The heel is the perfect height too - I especially love chunky heels because they are much easier to get around in.  I chose the gray because I don't have any pumps in that color, but there is also a nude and black option as well.   My shoes had a little flaw (one of the belts for the buckles was torn) but the shoes are still wearable and I will report back if anything is done!

I'm so excited to style these shoes with other outfits.  They will look so cute with maxi dresses and jeans and I definitely recommend snagging a pair for the fall.

Hope everyone has a great start to the week!  I'm hoping that comes with cooler weather because I''m over this heat and big frizzy hair!!

I received these shoes at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.  All opinions shared above are my own.

LulaRoe by Ciara Carly Dress c/o | Preppy Pink Shop Leopard Scarf | H&M crossbody, old | Kohls Booties, old (similar here and love this)

Recently took the plunge and got my first LulaRoe piece, a pair of leggings that I styled here.  Since then I've quickly developed a love for LulaRoe and I can see why so many ladies are fans of the brand.  I wanted to try out some other styles, so I partnered with Ciara, a LulaRoe Rep to test out and talk about the Carly Dress, a newer style in the LulaRoe family!  She sent over this pink striped print (clearly she knows my style!!)  The Carly is a breezy dress with a high-low hem and a patch pocket, and is so flattering for all body types!  I stuck to my normal size small, but it definitely has an oversized fit.

Tips for Styling the Carly Dress

  • The Carly is a more casual swing style, but add a belt to give your waist some definition!
  • Dress up the Carly with a fun scarf (bonus points for mixing prints!)
  • Add a denim vest for a casual weekend look!

Ciara has kindly offered my readers a 20% discount on your LulaRoe purchase.  Use code gift20 on your next purchase!  Make sure you join her Facebook page and get ready for the next Monday sale with new items!

I love LulaRoe pieces because they have the most darling prints, which makes it so easy for print mixing.  Stripes and leopard is a classic fall favorite for me.  I'd love to hear about some of your favorite print mixing tips for fall below, especially if it involves LulaRoe.

Turtleneck sweater, old | GoldenTote Mod Skirt (size up) | ZooShoo Olive Booties (size up at least a half size) | Jewels, old

I just noticed that it's been a week since I've posted here.  Anyone else think that sometimes a short week can seem like the longest week ever!  But I'm back and sharing a new post reminiscent of fall.  One of my favorite trends right now are mod skirts with large abstract prints.  So easy to dress up or down and personally I think meant to be worn with boots or booties!  When I saw this pop up on GoldenTote I had to have it.  I saw recommendations to size up as this skirt was running small.  While I went up 2 sizes, I recommend only going up one size as it is slightly big.  I love the the mix of fall colors, and where else can I mix two of my favorites, brick and olive!

Speaking of olive, I have to highlight these cute booties!  Currently I'm on a search to build up my shoe collection with unique colored shoes, and these boots definitely fit that description.  I always size up a half size in booties and did so with these.  These fit like my normal size, so next time I would even size up 2 sizes to fit thicker socks/tights.  However, these booties are so comfy and easy to walk in.  They are good quality and I love the perforated detail.  If you're looking for more neutral colored booties - look no further; these booties come in eight options, including a black and taupe!  At less than $30, you have to give these beauties a chance!

Lilly Pulitzer Coral Top in Summer Siren (tagged a few other colors below!) | Kohls Skinnies (found in store, but similar here and here) | Sandals, old | Crossbody, old | Lilly Pulitzer Starfish Cuff, old

As much as I like the classic red, white and blue combo, this year I got suckered into buying two of Lilly Pulitzer's pink, white and blue prints instead.  I don't think this Coral top or the print itself got that much love, but this After Party Sale impulse buy is really growing on me.  I love Lilly peplum tops so I had to give it a try.  The colors are more neon in person, which the photos couldn't capture.  This is a great top for summer.

Now I've mentioned before that I've recently gotten into denim, but that's because I'm finding jeans with some great details.  I'm loving the raw hem on these skinnies, and for less than $4 at Kohls, I had to have them.

Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend.  I'm sad summer is coming to an end, but fall is my favorite season so there's lots to look forward to.  I can't wait to start my week with a pumpkin spice latte!
