Enclothe Boutique Floral Midi c/o (less than $40!) | Target Sandals, old | Target Crossbody, old (see other blush options below) | BaubleBar Earrings, old (similar here)

Happy Memorial Day!  This weekend my family spent a day at Longwood Gardens, a gorgeous botanical garden just outside of Philly.  I couldn't think of a better place to wear my new Enclothe Boutique dress than among the pretty florals!

Obviously the floral print caught my eye, but I especially loved the vintage vibe and the ivory background which makes it perfect for spring/summer.  I'm also very into midi lengths right now; it's perfect for petite ladies like me while also allows us to show off some fun footwear (I had to keep it comfy for our trip but I will be pairing with some great heels next time!)  And to top it off, this is the softest material.

I wanted to play up the blush shades in the print with my accessories, but a vibrant pink would also be a great choice as well as a camel/nude if you prefer something more neutral.

As soon as I pulled this cute little ice cream bag out of the pink package, I knew my May Ipsy collection would be a winner!  This month, I got a nice mix of products including skincare and makeup; read on for more details...

1.) Estee Lauder Double Wear Makeup To Go Liquid Compact
I immediately had to look this up because I couldn't believe a full-sized Estee Lauder item would be in the Ipsy bag!  And they sent me a shade that works for my skintone.  It's a pretty cool concept - you just press a button and the compact dispenses liquid foundation, and you can build up if needed.  It provides great coverage without feeling cakey (which means it's perfect for summer!)  There's no extra waste and no spilling.  It's also a great compact for travel.

2.) Luxie Beauty Foundation Brush 660
Another brush, but finally a foundation brush.  It's so soft and fluffy, and it's vegan and cruelty free as well.  Plus it comes with the prettiest purple handle!  I can't wait to use this with my liquid foundation, but it can also be used for powders, concealers, highlighters and bronzers!  That takes multi-tasking to a whole new level.

3.) Manar Kadar Radiance Split Pan Bronzer and Highlighter
I've gotten Manar Kadar items before, but I'm especially loving this duo.  The two shades compliment each other, and the color can be built up if you want a more dramatic look.  This can also be used as an eyeshadow.

4.) treStiQue Mini Matte Lip Crayon
I've also gotten mini lip crayons in previous bag, but I love them.  This time I got Tuscan Wine, and I originally thought it would be too dark for spring/summer.  But after trying it on, it's the prettiest shade of red.  This also looks more like a lip stain if you only apply a little and blend it with your finger, so I love it.  This will be going in my makeup bag!

5.) Hempz Pomegranate Herbal Body Lotion
Rounding off this month was a body lotion made with hemp seed oil.  I've never tried anything with hemp seed in it, and after looking it up, I really think I need to incorporate it more into my skincare routine!  The pomegranate scent is so light and refreshing and I love the lingering scent.  Hempz has some other products (and scents) that sound great, so I'll have to try more items.

This is probably one of the best Ipsy bags I've ever gotten.  So many great products, all of which I will use.  I also love this water resistant bag, which will be perfect for the beach.  As always,  I can't wait for the June previews to start!

Hey all, I have a quick but fun post today.  I know I've shared my love for MANNA (a Philly non-profit that provides nutritious meals for people with life-threatening illnesses) with you before.  I love volunteering with them and also supporting their events.  Well, they have an amazing event, Guac Off, coming up that involves one of my favorite things, guacamole!  I mean, who doesn't enjoy guac, right?!

This year Guac Off is celebrating its 5th anniversary and features some really great restaurants including Dos Segundos, Revolution Taco, and much more.  I'm so excited for an evening of sampling unlimited chips and guac.  The best part?  Proceeds from the event benefit MANNA programming.

Event Deets:
Guac Off will be next Thursday, May 25 from 6-9pm!  VIP tickets are available and include one extra hour of tasting (from 5-6pm) and a special tee! The event takes place at Morgan's Pier.

And what better place to kick-off summer than at Morgan's Pier!  Be sure to get your tickets and I'll see you there!

New York & Co Embroidered Top (runs slightly big) | White Denim, old | ZooShoo Sandals | Tassel Earrings | Ivory Crossbody

So it's been a little quiet on the blogging front here because I've been so busy these past weeks, so I wanted to share a quick personal update.  I've been transitioning to a new job, and I'm so excited to announce that I have taken on a new job working with L'Oreal!  I'll be working on a new beauty and skincare line launching in 2018, so be on the lookout for some posts about that in the future!  But back to business...

It's no secret that navy and white is one of my favorite spring/summer combos.   There's something about the nautical stripes that screams warm weather attire.  I took a gamble on this top from New York & Co, and while it runs a little large, I love the embroidered details and the comfy fit!  I immediately thought to pair it with white denim, but I'll have to play around with other style options. Also obsessed with the bow tie, which is what sold me on this particular top.

I paired this outfit with these tassel earrings from Amazon.  How pretty is that pop of red with these colors (perfect for Memorial Day, right!!)  I love the bright color and the gold finish, but one of the earrings has a backing that does not stay on.   I'm hoping it's just my pair though.

And I am so crushing on these adorable cutout sandals.  I went with my normal size, but I probably would go up half a size for comfort.  The heels also come in brown and black, but I've been wanting a nude pair to go with my summer outfits.  Will have to break these in a bit, but I'm hoping they are comfy like my other Zooshoo footwear!

I received the earrings and shoes at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review.  All opinions shared above are my own.

Today I'm sharing part two of my conference recap; if you missed part one, check it out here!  I was so excited to hear the speakers, drink lots of Saxby's iced chai which is so amazing, take advantage of all the photo opps, make magical unicorn cupcakes, and eat all the delicious food!  Below is a closer look at what happened on Sunday...

Day 2: Conference at Saxby's
I think our biggest feat was finally getting a team photo!  Here I am with Melissa | Skinny Affair,
Chrystina | Chrystina Noel, Sarah M | smoorelovin,  and Sarah R | Shades Of Sarah!  Also, kudos to Sarah M for the the coolest backdrops for photos.  This balloon wall is major #goals!
It was exciting to see so many engaged bloggers enjoying the sessions, and even taking pages and pages of notes (some in our new Erin Condren planners!)
Sarah Morgan | XO Sarah was our keynote speaker and she shared 10 game changers for your blog.
Other speakers included Sola Onitiri | Let's Get Going, Andy Shaw | InstaFather,  and Jess Herbine | Broke Girls Go Out!
Our panel on working with brands was amazing as well, and was led by Erika | Coming Up Roses, Nicole | Simply Nicole and Amber | Ember & March.  We also had some great breakout sessions that I didn't get to participate in because I was helping out with our magical cupcake decorating sessions!
We had a blast decorating unicorn cupcakes with Cupcakes By Ruth.  When I say these are the tastiest (and prettiest) cupcakes I have ever had, I mean it.  How do you think I did with my unicorn cupcake?
We had so much delicious food, including the most amazing bagels and cream cheese from Schmear It, lunch from Grateful Plate, and unlimited snacks!  If you haven't tried Mrs. Thinster's Brownie Batter Cookie Thins, do yourself a favor and a bag pronto!
Can we take a moment to admire the most amazing swag bag ever!  First off, Erin Condren was so kind to gift every attendee with a planner with our logo!  Aren't they gorgeous!  Thanks to Melissa and Sarah R for doing a great job with the swag and raffles!

There was even more to the conference; be sure to check out the PHLbloggers recap for more on what I didn't capture!  And finally a huge thank you to Chrystina who somehow managed to find extra hours in the day to spearhead this conference.   It was such a great experience to participate and help plan this conference and I'm looking forward to what next year will bring.

A huge thank you to our talented photographer, Tim Becker, for all the photographs!

I can't believe that The Blog Connect is over, but now that I've had a week to decompress and reflect on the whirlwind that was the conference, I wanted to highlight some of my favorite parts of the weekend.  Today I'm sharing part one of the recap, the ellelauri pre-party!

Day 1: ellelauri Pre-Party

I was part of the planning committee, and the pre-party was my baby.  From first sight I knew I had to select ellelauri (I mean, have you seen the cute pieces in store?) and I really couldn't have asked for more hospitable venue.  A huge thank you to Liz and Amanda for treating us so well!
Concihairge provided guests with the coolest braids I have ever seen!  See my review and my braid here!
Ann Blake shared some of her secrets for creating beautiful flatlays!
And of course no party is complete without delicious food and drinks.  I tried Kombucha for the first time (thanks Inspired Brews) and learned about Paint Cans (the adult version of boxed wine, but so much better!) from Pinot Boutique.  I also learned that Pinot has wine slushies...let me know if you want to join in for a summer happy hour!  The food was so delish; the cauliflower pizza from Agno Grill and the DiBrunos cheese spread definitely hit the spot.  And I'm still dreaming about those ICI Macarons!
The raffles were seriously amazing.  Shoutout to all the winners!
But my absolute favorite part was meeting all the bloggers that I've gotten to know so well through social media.  It was like catching up with old friends.
Me with Khoi | Gentleman Within
Me again with Carolyn | Energetic Foodie and Kasia | Ampersand

Yup, that's me so busy chatting with my bloggy friends that I didn't even notice the camera!

I thought that the party was a huge success.  It wouldn't have been possible without the help of my girls/amazing planning team of Chrystina | Chrystina Noel, Sara | smoorelovin, Melissa | Skinny Affair, and Sarah | Shades Of Sarah!  The party was the perfect way to start the conference and give everyone a chance to network in a fun setting!

If you attended, let me know your favorite part of the party below and look out for part two of the conference recap tomorrow!

A huge thank you to our talented photographer, Tim Becker, for all the photographs!

Old Navy Pocket Tee | H&M Skirt (love this) | Charlotte Russe Lace Up Sandals (old, but majorly crushing on these!!) | Echo New York Diamond Scarf c/o | H&M Clutch

Raise of hands, who else is into neck scarves right now?!  I recently styled another striped neck scarf (catch the post here) and it really changed the vibe of the outfit.  So naturally I'm now finding any way to incorporate them into my wardrobe!  Echo New York sent me one of their floral diamond scarf designs to style, which was totally new shape for me.

There are so many ways to style this scarf, but the look above is the first thing that came to mind.  I just folded it in half and tied the ends behind my neck (but I may have to do another post sharing some other ideas for styling a diamond scarf!)  Since the scarf design is so colorful, I wanted that to be the star of the outfit.  I kept the outfit pretty casual with the tee and denim skirt, and got crazy with the accessories!  This casual look will be a go to for me during the spring and summer months.

Let's quickly chat about Echo Designs, which is a designer scarf brand!  The scarf above is made of 100% silk (luxurious, right) but is also under $40 (total steal!)  The scarf is well made and definitely looks expensive.  After browsing through the site, I fell in love with so many more scarves, beautiful prints in all different shapes and sizes (square, diamond, oblong wrap, etc.)  But I have to say that the diamond style is quickly becoming my favorite new scarf design!

Would you try styling a diamond scarf?  New styling ideas are welcome in the comments!

Thank you to Echo New York for sending me this scarf in exchange for a review.  All opinions shared above are my own!
