Black Cami, old | Forever21 Denim | SheIn Ruffle Sleeve Cardi | Zooshoo Pumps, no longer available | Crossbody, old | Chloe + Isabel Pendant (not available, but love this)

Even with so many cute fall pieces out there, there was one piece that I knew I wanted to add to my collection - a ruffle sleeve cardigan.  I searched for a while and found some cute options, but didn't want to spend the big bucks for one sweater.  When I saw SheIn had an option that was under $30, I knew I had to give it a try (and also see what SheIn was all about!)  It turned out to be a great find and I highly recommend snagging it while it lasts.  The cardi is so warm and cozy, though it does have a more cropped fit - my only complaint is that I wish it was slightly longer in the back.  I will be wearing this all fall/winter for sure!  Since I wanted the cardigan to be the statement piece, I kept the rest of the outfit pretty simple!

I had mixed feelings about ordering from SheIn, but saw a few pieces that I absolutely wanted and since the price wasn't bad, I placed my order.  It shipped and arrived pretty quickly, something that I was not expecting since this is an Asian company.  The pieces all fit and they are all super cute, though the quality isn't the best it's not the worst either.  I will definitely order from here again.

kLab Gingham Dress (sold out, similar here, obsessed with this and this is perfect for fall) | Ami Clubwear Booties c/o | Crossbody | Choker (old similar here)

Happy almost Friday!  I have a very quick post to share today because these booties are just that good and ya'll need them!  But first, let's talk gingham...summer is fading away but I'm still so into gingham pieces like this dress.  I'm dying over the ruffles on this dress, which was a Kohls kLab piece from over the summer.  Unfortunately it's sold out now, but I've linked some pretty fall options below.  Since the print is still going strong, ff course I'm looking for all the ways to take it into fall.  One of my favorite ways to transition dresses is just to add boots!

Speaking of boots, I am obsessed with this pair I recently scored from Ami Clubwear.  They are velvet and have embellishments and are the perfect statement shoe (and you don't have to sacrifice comfort because the chunky heel is the perfect height!)  You'll be seeing much of this bootie in the coming weeks, but if you want it, I highly recommend snagging a pair as it looks like some sizes are already sold out - I sized up a size as I normally do with boots.

The black and white color combo is a great canvas for accessories, but I wanted to stick to a monochromatic look.  Next time I'm thinking a pop of hot pink would be fun, or even a mustard to add some fall hues...

Shop The Post

I'll be sharing a longer recap of Ami Clubwear in the coming weeks, but I am impressed with the pieces I received.  If you're on the fence - I recommend as least trying out the shoes!

Leopard Dress | Moto Jacket, old | Zooshoo OTK Boots, sold out (similar here) | Crossbody, old | The Style Theory Choker, old | Druzy Earrings

Anyone else agree that leopard is a neutral?!  I love wearing the print year round, but I'm especially excited to get my leopard pieces out when fall rolls around.  I just love leopard print paired with fall colors like brown, burgundy, and olive.  I recently found this dress on Amazon and was immediately drawn to the full sleeves, fun neckline and the light color palette (very different from the other leopard pieces I own.)  So of course I had to give this dress a try.

You can see that my dress above looks slightly different from Amazon.  The halter straps just weren't working for me - they weren't sewn on properly so they didn't sit right.  I liked everything else about the dress so I kept it and cut the straps off.  And it's so much better.  The dress is really comfy and I love the ruffle neckline.  Other than than strap issue, it's a dress worth getting (it also comes in a black option!)

The other thing I'm excited about is fall makeup.  I recently picked up the NYX Lip Lingerie in Teddy and I'm obsessed.  I'll be sharing my favorite fall makeup essentials, including the NYX lippie, soon...

Kenra Platinum Snail Anti-Aging Collection Shampoo, Conditioner, & CC Cream, Kenra Shaping Spray 21 and Kenra Platinum Heat Block Hairspray 22 c/o

Who doesn't love trying new haircare products?  I was so excited to try out some new summer goodies from Kenra Professional, especially after having some great experiences with the brand in the past (see here)!

Snail Anti-Aging Collection
I was most intrigued by this line - with snails involved, who wouldn't be?!  But it's not as scary as it seems.  The products contain a snail essence (a highly concentrated protein blend) that helps fight 10 signs of anti-aging!

The Shampoo and Conditioner were light and didn't weigh down hair!  However it added extra volume and for someone with fizzy prone hair, it was not a great look styled naturally - oops.  Next time I'll have to straighten my hair after using these products!  My hair was super soft and shinier than ever though, which I loved.  Another note is that I didn't love the scent, but that's a personal preference.  The scent is really faint so it fades quickly.

The CC Cream is a lightweight cream - a little goes a long way.  Just like the shampoo and conditioner, it added extra softness and shine but doesn't completely reduce frizz.  Check out this more detailed review on the CC Cream!

It may take a little extra styling, but I will continue to use these product because of how soft and shiny they make my hair!

Kenra Shaping Spray

I don't typically use hairspray, but now that Kenra has released a version that's alcohol free, I may have to use it more often.  This spray eliminates all the things that I don't like about hairsprays, like the crunchy feeling, and that chemical smell.  It is a little sticky at first, but with a quick brush my hair was soft and held up well against frizz.  It also has a nice clean scent with floral notes!  Sometimes I finish off a hairdo with hairspray because of the scent and this is a great hairspray for that!  I recommend grabbing this if you're looking for a new hairspray!

Kenra Platinum Heat Block Spray

I love spray heat protectants, but ones I've used in the past either make my hair feel dry or make my hair look greasy.  The great thing about Kenra's spray is that is does neither - probably due to one of the magic ingredients: bee propolis (how cute is the bee on the bottle?!)  I loved that Kenra came out with a spray which made it easy to apply, and can be used on wet or dry hair.  However I mostly only curl or straighten on dry hair.  I sprayed on my hair, brushed it out, and then straightened.  My hair was protected, and looked great in the end!

Overall I enjoyed trying all of these and they will come in handy.  I recommend giving them a try if you're in the market to try some new haircare products, which can easily be found at Ulta!

(l-r) Surya Brasil Nail Polishes in Jabiru, Coral Snake, Pampas Cat, and Anteater

If there's one beauty item that I'm especially picky about, it's nail polish.  There are many options on the market, so it can sometimes be hard to select the right ones.  There are a few things I consider before buying a nail polish - unique shades, price, and of course the ingredients.  I go for brands that are free of harmful ingredients (Zoya is a go-to!) but when I heard about Surya Brasil's organic nail polishes, I was definitely intrigued.

Surya Brasil is a sustainable line of beauty products using plants-based ingredients from the Amazon and around the world.  In addition to nail polishes, there also have hair and skin products (which I'll have to check out next!)

Let's take a closer look at the shades I tested...

Jabiru (Metallic White)
Jabiru is a silvery white shade.  This is not a color I would wear on its own again - maybe as a topper on another color or an accent nail!  I needed 2 coats, but the color is still somewhat streaky.  This color also chipped quickly.

Coral Snake (Intense Coral)
Coral Snake is a very pretty coral shade.  I own other coral shades, but this was different - it was a little sheer and I loved it.  This will be great for spring.  I didn't wear this long enough to test for chipping.

Pampas Cat (Tan)
Pampas Cat was a pretty nude shade that's great for an everyday look.  The color is so effortless and makes your nails look polished.  This took 2 coats and lasted pretty long.

Anteater (Dark Brown)
Anteater is a rich brown that's great for fall.  Again, this was 2 coats and coated my nails perfectly.  It's been a few days and I see some minor chips around the edges of my nails.  Overall I'm really loving this and it will be on repeat for the next few months.

Overall I'm impressed with my experience trying Surya Brasil.  I loved the colors I tried, the formulas and the fact that they were vegan and organic.

How beautiful are those wood caps!  I also loved the animal illustrations on each bottle (the name of each color in the Exotic Animals line corresponds to the picture!)  There was no detail overlooked with this line.

Would you give Surya Brasil a try?  Which color is your favorite?

Golden Tote Lace Bell Sleeve Top | Lauren Conrad Skinnies (similar here) | Booties, old (love this) | Pink Floral Statement Earrings (comes in 2 other colors!) | Ivory Crossbody

Lace and dramatic statement sleeves are two of my favorite things, so I'm always excited when I find pieces that combine both of those together!  I was immediately drawn to the Golden Tote top above.  The intricate lace work is so different from anything I've seen lately, and the top looks so pretty dressed up or down.  I chose to pair it with black skinnies for work, but I'll be wearing it with my suede mini and OTK boots next!  Luckily all sizes are still available at Golden Tote, but keep in mind it does run small (especially if you have a bigger chest.)  I'm linking some other pretty lace options for fall below!

I kept the accessorizing to a minimum to let the lacey top and pink floral earrings shine.  The earrings are another find from Amazon and I have to say they are one of my favorites right now.  They come in a blue and white as well, and are under $11!  The earrings are pretty well made and the best part is that they are lightweight so they won't hurt your ears all day.  And, of course, they are the perfect pop of color for any outfit!
