October 2017 | Paint The Town Chic
Zaful Jumpsuit c/o (also love this style) | Charlotte Russe Cardigan (similar here) | ZooShoo Booties, old |  BaubleBar Crispin Earrings | Lauren Conrad Tassel Necklace, sold out

I hope you guys aren't bored of seeing photos from Longwood Gardens.  I just love their seasonal displays and I'm was so impressed by their fall floral displays (how cool are those mum globes - all one plant fyi.)  It's the perfect place to show off, or blend in, with the flowers!

This visit I chose to wear this Zaful floral jumpsuit (which I wore a few weeks ago on Instagram - check out the back detail here!)  I paired it with my favorite oversized cardi and booties for a more casual look.

Since my jumpsuit has straps, it would be so cute layered over a tee or turtleneck.  I'm still loving the layered look right now, and it's a great way to extend the wear of summer pieces!  For fall, I'm loving velvet jumpsuits, over the shoulder necklines and wrap jumpsuits.

Ways To Style a Jumpsuit For Fall
  • Pair with an oversized cardigan!
  • Get edgy with a moto jacket!
  • Layer over a turtleneck or full sleeve tee!
  • Throw on a denim jacket (always a classic)!

This jumpsuit does run TTS; I sized up since I was worried about the sizing but it ended up being too big.  I recommend getting your normal size but double check with the size chart and any reviews to be sure.  I was pretty impressed with the quality of this piece and would order again from Zaful.  Check out how I styled my Zaful sundress here.

Jumpsuits are just so effortless and are great for dressing up or down.  I'm definitely a fan now.  I can't wait to snag a few more for fall and style them in different ways.

October 29, 2017
A few Sundays ago I was invited to spend the morning at Benjamin Lovell Shoes to learn more about the company and try on shoes.  Literally all the shoes!  It was definitely a fashion lovers dream.  But there's much more to trying on shoes, which I learned during my consultation with Dave, the Store Manager at Ben Lovell!
The first part of the morning (after my initial gawking at all the amazing footwear) was to get my foot measured.  This is a crucial fitting that most people never get done.  A proper fitting means selecting shoes that fit your feet snugly and could potentially reduce pain!  I admit that I sometimes tend to purchase shoes, especially boots, a half size bigger and that's a big no-no (when shoes don't fit, your feet overcompensate for all the shifting.)  I also learned that many people have feet that are two different sizes, myself included, but in most cases it doesn't affect purchasing shoes.
The other part of the consultation was chatting about what kind of shoes I was looking for, preferences, etc.  I kept my mind open and my only request was to find booties for fall.   All customers who shop at Benjamin Lovell Shoes receive the same customer service and attention to detail.

But let's get to the fun stuff...trying on shoes and highlighting some must-have fall trends!

1.) Black Leather Booties
There's no question about it, black booties are a wardrobe staple that aren't going anywhere!  Luckily there was no shortage at Benjamin Lovell!  I tried on a few pairs that I loved, especially from the brand Pikolinos (they had the most luxurious buttery soft leathers!)

One trend that I'm really loving is metallic detailing.  Those booties at the end were the most glorious shimmery pair and had a really comfy heel (double win!)

Shopping Online?  Check out this and this!

2.) Wedges + Combat Boots
Wedges and combat boots are both styles that I don't have in my closet.  Spoiler alert, I reluctantly left the olive cuties behind, but I have a new found appreciation for combat boots.  One great thing about Benjamin Lovell, and my consultation with Dave was that he brought out styles for me to try that I normally wouldn't look twice at.  I will definitely be adding a pair of combat boots for the fall/winter season!

Online shoppers check out this and this!

3.) Prints + Color
If you know me, colors and prints are my thing.  My eyes were immediately drawn to the animal print booties seen up above.  They add such a fun pop of color to any outfit.  I also saw these velvet sneaks before leaving the store and fell in love with the color!

Online must haves here and here.

So naturally, after trying on shoes, I still decided on this colorful pair!
Many of the brands carried by Benjamin Lovell are premium European brands made with quality materials and will hold up for a LONG time.  If you're looking to purchase a good quality pair of shoes, I would suggest picking a classic piece that will get a lot of wear.  The store has more of a selection and is worth the visit if you're in the Philly area!

When it comes to booties, do you prefer trendy colors/prints or classic looks?  Let me know if the comments!

A huge thank you to Benjamin Lovell Shoes for my consultation and shoes.  All opinions shared above are my own.

Enclothe Boutique Maxi Dress c/o | Lauren Conrad Moto Jacket (from last season, but loving the current option as well!) | ZooShoo Booties, old | Tote, old | Choker, old (love this) | Crystal Bobby Pins, sold out (love these)

Photos by Sarah | Shades of Sarah

In case you haven't noticed from my Instagram account, mustard is one of my must have colors for fall!  There's something about the rich jewel tone that just screams autumn.  Of course I was instantly drawn to this floral maxi from Enclothe Boutique (with sleeves no less!  So hard to find maxi dresses with sleeves!)

I got my normal size, and I didn't find it to be see through or too low cut.  However I had to hem it quite a few inches, so fellow short gals, keep that in mind.

Since the weather has gotten cooler, I have to find ways to style my dresses for cold weather.  The perfect compliment to this dress was my favorite burgundy moto jacket, which picked up some of the colors from the dress.  I styled with peep toe sandals, but I tagged some fall friendly options below.

This maxi will make a great Thanksgiving dress if you're still looking for one (so cute and it easily hides food bellies!) and luckily it's still available in all sizes over at Enclothe.  Hurry over and snag it before it sells out!

Charlotte Russe Plaid Top | H&M Skirt, old (love this and this) | Fur Vest, old | OTK Boots, old (love these) | Choker, old (similar here)

There are very few prints I don't wear, and until recently plaid was one of them.  I've been on a bit of a plaid kick lately though, but luckily it's the perfect fall print.  I've also been seeing so many cute plaid tops with pretty embellishments and details.  I loved the blue and green combo on the top I'm wearing above, but the floral embroidery is what sold me (gotta get that bit of floral into every outfit of course!)

This particular top is more of a tunic (great with leggings!) so I decided to tie the bottom to show off the zip detail on the skirt.  The baggier fit makes this shirt so comfy - it's the perfect weekend plaid!  This would be cute layered on top of a denim dress or LBD as well for a casual work look.

Of course no fall outfit is complete without a furry vest and over the knee boots.  Since the top had both black and white, I decided to accessorize with both colors.

I'm off to find more plaid to add to my closet...

It's no secret that I'm a sucker for trying new skincare products.  Whether they are new items on the market or new-to-me brands, I get equally excited to check them out.  I recently had the opportunity to try my first item from Farmacy Beauty and after reading some positive things about the brand, I was thrilled to try it for myself.  Keep scrolling down for a review and a discount!!
Farmacy Beauty Green Clean Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm
I got to sample the Green Clean Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm, which is a nourishing balm featuring Echinacea GreenEnvy that melts off a long day of makeup and grime!  The Balm comes pre-packaged with a spatula for ease of use.

At first glance, I was already hooked because of the really cute packaging.  The box even unfolds and tells the story of Farmacy (the ingredients, the farmers, etc.  Little details make all the difference!)  The bottle is also really cute, as is the case with most of Farmacy's line (obsessed with the Honey Drop bottle too!)
The balm was easy enough to use.  I generously scooped some product with the handy spatula (so cute right!) and the balm melted in my fingers so it was easy to apply.  I wet my face prior to using the balm and washed off once I was done.  The formula is so gentle and felt great on my skin.  It has had a really light, natural scent, which I appreciate in my skincare products.  And how pretty is that green color!

I could see and feel results right away.  My face has never felt cleaner and there was no dryness...at all!  Hours later and my face still feels moisturized and clean.  I do have to say that while it was effective, it did not remove all of my makeup which I was hoping for.  My mascara lingered, so I had to go in for round 2.

You can experience Farmacy for yourself with a discount!  Use code Green50 to get 20% off your purchase through October 31st!

I loved the Cleansing Balm; it has been added to my daily skincare routine.  If you're looking to try a new cleanser, I highly recommend this one.  I may have to stock up on some other products with that discount.

Thank you to Farmacy Beauty and Brandbacker for the sample in exchange for a review.  All opinions shared above are my own.

I've been loving fall clothing trends lately, especially since the weather has finally been feeling like fall.  I've been acquiring some must have fall clothes like sweaters and booties, much also have my eye on some other pieces that are a little out of my comfort zone (i.e. camo!)  As much as I'm all about quality over quantity, when it comes to trendy pieces, I prefer to purchase something more affordable to test it out first.  In comes Zaful.  Over the summer I posted some outfits featuring Zaful (remember this dress) and was so impressed that I can't wait to try some fall looks as well.  In the meantime, I'm sharing a quick wishlist of some of my favorite items.

Sweaters top my fall must-haves, but I'm really loving gray for fall.  It balances out rich jewel tones like wine and navy, but also look great with jeans.  I'm loving this embroidered number, this dramatic sleeve, and this tie detail.

I absolutely love dresses with full sleeves.  As soon as the weather starts getting cold, I pull my full sleeved dresses out.  Bonus if it has a dramatic sleeve!  This embroidered, dramatic sleeve dress is the perfect fall LBD!

I can't get enough of embellished denim right now, but embroidered jeans top the list.  I'm loving this pretty colors of this floral pair for fall!  Also love this skirt which looks so cute with booties!

4.) Booties
Speaking of booties, I'm growing quite the collection.  Pearl embellished booties are my go-to this fall.  I'm crushing on this pair, which combines a tough combat boot with girly details.

I could go on with fall must haves, but I'll let you check out Zaful for yourself!  Don't forget to use code ZFEN for a special discount!
