Hey loves.  Hope everyone had a great weekend.  It was such a beautiful weekend here in Philly with temps that reminded me of spring.  I cannot wait until everyday is that warm.  This time of year, it can be hard to dress for the weather because the weather can be so cold in the mornings/nights.  However, my mind is already on spring attire so I've had to get creative with my looks. I wanted to share some tips for adding spring pieces to your wardrobe now while getting a little more wear from that winter wardrobe.

I was recently introduced to Heartloom, a brand that makes beautiful, great quality pieces and I wanted to share some of the pieces here on Paint The Town Chic.

A sweater, to me, is one article of clothing that you can wear all year. This green sweater is better suited for fall/winter because of the rich hue, but I paired it with a very airy striped pant to transition it to spring.  I finished off with some summer accessories like this belt and my wooden bag.

Have I mentioned I love my sweater collection, and that includes this gray cutie from Heartloom as well. I always look forward to bringing out my whites and light colors for spring, so I wanted to keep this look in the neutral family. I paired the sweater with light wash denim and sneakers.

Or maybe, like me, you fell hard for the 90s Clueless plaid mini skirt trend this winter. No need to pack them away quite yet because this is an easy piece to transition to spring! I added a white tee and denim jacket, but I love them styled with a graphic tee as well. Again, I paired them with sneakers to keep this casual!  And a side note - this tee from Universal Standard is one of my favorites. Great quality, so comfy and I love the copped length!

I am a little sad to pack away the winter wardrobe in a few weeks, but I'm more excited for all the sundresses and sandals to come!  What about you - are you teamwinter or teamspring?
