I've stepped up my mascara game by trying Younique Moonstruck 3D Fiber Lashes.  There's been a lot of buzz, so I wanted to see what everyone was raving about!  I've shared my love of mascara in other posts, so this entry is dedicated to my eye routine and my first experience with Younique!

Lashes without product

My routine is typically two parts-and starts with a primer.  I've been using Diorshow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum and love it.  I start with a coat of primer and wait for it to dry.  Then I apply 1-2 coats of my favorite mascara.  For this post I used Benefit's They're Real! Mascara which i love for special occasions, but my everyday go to is Maybelline Falsies.

Once you've applied your regular mascara and it's dry, you apply the Transplanting Gel and before the Gel is dry, apply the Natural Fibers to the lashes.  Then seal the Fibers with another coat of the Gel!  You can repeat this process as many times as you want.  I only went with 1 coat because I couldn't separate my lashes - this is where  have to add a lash comb!  Brittany also gave some great tips on enhancing lashes without looking clumpy, like focusing on the tips of eyelashes!

Overall, I really like what the 3D lashes can do!  They were definitely more full and defined with the 3D Fibers, though it may not show so much in the photos.  I need to perfect the application technique, and get a lash comb to separate my lashes in between applications, but other than that it's pretty easy to use.  I don't really like using fake lashes so this will be a great alternative for special occasions (just too much effort for my everyday work routine!)  Not only does it provide fantastic results, but it washes right off with water.  Be warned that the product will come off in clumps, but my lashes were fine!  Can't wait to use the mascara again.

You can definitely see a difference!  I love it!
