Can you believe that December is already almost over and the holidays are very quickly approaching?  This really is one of my favorite times of the year-the decorations, the food, the cheerful moods, and the excuse for shopping makes this a perfect start to the season!  I had a blast coming up with my fall bucket list, so I figured it was only appropriate to come up with a few things that I must do (or wear) over this upcoming winter!

10. Dinner Party with Friends
It's a tradition for my friends and I to have Thanksmas, our version of Friendsgiving!  We pick a weekend sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas to hang out, cook together and enjoy an amazing meal!  And it was amazing, just like I thought it would be.

9. Wear Something Furry (Faux of course)
I'm loving the fur vests and coats that I'm seeing these days.  They look so cute with swing dresses or even a blouse and jeans.  I have to get my hands on something with fur before winter is over.

8. Go to a Hockey Game
I love going to live sporting events, but hockey is one of those sports that I've only watched on TV.  I would love to make it to a game this year though!

7. Add More Green To My Wardrobe
Green is one of those colors that I associate with this time of year, and I'm talking the deep, rich shades, like hunter green or forest green!  I've been wanting a green dress for a while...

6. Work off Holiday Calories
Spring is coming, just saying...

5. Take a Trip to NYC
I live just a few hours away from New York, and I have yet to see the Rockettes and participate in other holiday attractions.  It's something I've always wanted to do, so maybe this will be the year...

4. Make Gingerbread Cookies
I love gingerbread cookies!  So this year, I'm trying my hand at making these yummy cookies.  And yes, I might be cheating the first time with a little help from Betty Crocker!

3. Wear More Fun Socks
I love wearing cozy socks, but I've never coordinated my socks with my footwear!  There are so many options.  One of my inspirations is this look from Haute Off The Rack!  Such a fun look, I think it's finally time to try some different looks incorporating socks!

2. Visit local holiday attractions
As much as I love NYC, Philly has so many great holiday events as well.  Some of my favorites include the light show at the Wannamaker Building and the Christmas Tree lighting.  This year, I'd love to see A Longwood Christmas at Longwood Gardens!

1. Holiday Movie Marathon
There's nothing better than curling up on the could for a movie marathon, especially during the winter.  And it's so fun to watch all of the holiday movies In fact, it's not Christmas without watching Home Alone at least once this month.  But I also love all the other classics like Rudolph and Frosty the Snowman.  And of course there is It's A Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street and the list goes on!

What special things are you planning to do this winter?
