5 Ways to Wear An Oversized Plaid Scarf

Boucle Plaid Wrap/Scarf | Coat, old (linked some cute options below!) | Ruffle Socks (check Kohls stores for them, or linked a few others below) | Booties, old | BaubleBar earrings, sold out

It's that time of year where my standard outfit consists of many layers and an oversized scarf, all bundled together with a matching coat (and usually a warm Starbucks beverage!)  Plaid scarves are my go-to for winter, and this blue and white one is the newest in my collection.  I was especially drawn to the boucle fabric - such a cute touch!

The great thing about these oversized scarves is that you can wear them many ways.  Before we get to styling the scarf, here's a closer look at it!  This color combo is going to be perfect for winter.

Here's a better look at the full size of the scarf; it's not quite a blanket scarf so it's not bulky!

Style 1
This wrap style has been a recent favorite.  I love this in place of a coat when the weather is warmer, or bringing them into a cold office!

Style 2
This simple knot is how I've been wearing my scarves lately because it's been extra windy here in Philly lately!

Style 3
This is another way to wear scarves with outerwear!

Style 4
This is how I usually wear my longer scarves.  It's a great neck warmer, and looks equally cute with dresses and boots as it does with outerwear!

Style 5
I also love the faux infinity scarf look (just pin or tie the ends in the back!)  This style is also great for accessorizing any outfit.
