January Ipsy Bag Review - Paint The Town Chic

January Ipsy Bag Review

New month, new Ipsy bag...and I'm going back to posting reviews because I've been getting some amazing products!  This month was no exception!  There was a clear brown/neutral theme going on!  Let's take a closer look at what I got, starting with my favorite item!

1.) The Coffee Scrub in Coconut
It's no secret that I'm always most excited to try new skincare samples.  The Coffee Scrub was my favorite item in the January bag.  Not only did it smell amazing, my skin felt so soft after using.  Not to mention this is 100% organic and natural.  Scrubs are great for removing dead skin and helping with blood circulation, and this is one of the best exfoliators I've used. It also comes in other scents, including French Vanilla and Rose, so of course I have to try them now. Highly recommend picking this up.

2.) Real Chemistry Fresh Start Foaming Cleanser
This was my next favorite item of the bunch.  I loved how fresh and clean my face felt after using.  The best part is that I could clearly see less blackheads (which is rare occurrence!)  I loved the rich formula too, and it had a nice scent.  Definitely a product I would consider purchasing in the future!

3.) Vasanti Kajal Waterline Eyeliner in Intense Black
And the Ipsy bag isn't complete without some new makeup items, usually including an eyeliner.  I was pleasantly surprised with this Vasanti eyeliner, but it wasn't anything special.

4.) City Color Cosmetics Contour Palette
I gave this a quick swatch and was impressed with the quality of the powders and the color payoff.  I also liked the matte finish.  I'll have to play around with this more.

5.) NYX Lip Lingerie in Beauty Mark
This is my third Lip Lingerie lippie and it's my favorite.  It's such a great neutral shade - keep in mind that the colors in this range do have more brown undertones.  You can see a peek of it in this Insta post.

And that's it, another great month of Ipsy.  I thought the bag itself wasn't very wintery, but I still love the pop of neon.  Cannot wait to see what next month will bring.
