Anyone else still in denial that the holidays are truly over now?  They go by so fast, and when it comes to fashion, there are a few fabrics and styles that are typically worn during that time of year.  I've now gotten to the point where I'll wear whatever I want whenever I want to (because what fun are rules anyway!)
Jumpsuit | Turtleneck, old | Booties, sold out

Today I wanted to talk metallics - a favorite look for the holidays. But who says metallic fabrics should only be worn on New Year's? Not me!

When I came across this adorable jumpsuit with just the right about of sparkle, I knew I needed it. The great thing about this cropped jumpsuit is that it can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion!

Naturally I layered this over my go-to turtleneck, fishnet tights and one of my favorite booties - I cannot resist a layered look in winter!
I'm also crushing on the metallic skirt/pants combo that my friend Chelsea of Organized Mess, is wearing! How cute is that!  Again, this is a skirt that I would wear throughout the season.

Tips For Adding Metallic Pieces To Your Wardrobe Right Now

  • If you have a metallic piece, dress it down by making the rest of the look casual. For example, pair a metallic top with jeans and an oversized cardi!
  • Pair a metallic dress with a denim jacket and sneakers.
  • A metallic coat is a stylish way to stay warm at winter.
  • Layer a metallic blazer to a jumpsuit or casual dress.
  • Have fun with accessories and add a metallic boot or bag.

What do you think about metallics after New Year's?  How would you style them?
