Paint The Town Chic
September was another great month for Ipsy!  A great mix of products (and tools this time) which I was happy about!

1.)  Cailyn Art Touch Tinted Lip Gloss, Basic Instinct
I'm always excited to find a lip product in my bag, but I was really hoping for the darker color this time around.  I received Basic Instinct, a pretty peach shade, but better suited for spring.  At first I didn't like how the product felt on my lips, but after getting rid of the excess product on the brush the next time I tried it, the color looked much nicer and not cakey.  It's best to go light with this product!  I may have to try a liner with this color.  I will put this aside for the spring or if I do a heavy smokey eye!

Ipsy is really making me love lipcolor through all these fun samples!

2.)  Pacifica Natural Water-Proof Eye Pencil, Fringe
I received this pencil in Fringe, a rich brown shade.  Having darker features, I always go for the deep blacks when it comes to eyeliner.  While I would never have selected this on my own, this would be a good everyday/work liner.  It goes on so smoothly.  This also says it's water-proof, which I prefer not to wear because I wear contacts. I will have to see what other products there are!  And the packaging is the cutest, which always helps!

3.)  NYX Hot Singles Eye Shadow , Rehab
I like when I get NYX in my Ipsy bag.  It's not a brand I typically buy, but they have nice products.  I received a gray shimmery shade and it's beautiful.  It would go great as part of a smokey eye, so I can't wait to experiment more.

4.)  Crown Brush Infinity Shadow/Crease Duet Brush
I love this brush.  It's so soft and love the way it applies product!  First tool I've gotten in my Ipsy bag and hope to get more beauty tools!

5.)  Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Mask
I had never heard of this brand before Ipsy, but I was excited to try a new hair product!  But this deep conditioning mask didn't really do much for my hair.  My hair doesn't look any better, and in fact seemed to get rid of the curl in my hair!  On top of that, it didn't leave any scent and I like shampoos/conditioners that smell good! Probably won't purchase this again.

I say this every month, but this is by far my favorite bag so far.  I can see myself adding a handle and turning into a wristlet!

And I just took a sneak peek of my October bag and I can tell it will have the best products yet!  Not only do I love what I'm getting, the rest of the choices were great too!  If you'd like to give Ipsy a try, I would love for you to use my link!  What were your favorites this month?

Skirt, Lilly Pulitzer | Top, Kohls | Boots, Ross | Necklace, Piper Boutique (all pieces old)

Today's fashion inspiration was to take this floral Lilly Pulitzer skirt and transform it into a fall worthy outfit.  At first glance, the bright colors make it better suited for spring, but I paired with a navy blue top and boots to tone it down. It was a great transition outfit because the weather hasn't gotten completely cold, and I'm not ready to pack up my brights yet.  My jewelry brought out the pinks in the skirt.

Florals are a great print for the season.  In general, I'll stick to more grays, blues and blacks with my prints, but they look great with a pair of boots and comfy sweater.  Definitely my favorite type of outfit and this isn't the last you'll be seeing of this!

I can't get enough of florals?  Would you wear floral prints this fall?

Fall is my favorite time of year.  I love when the leaves change colors, the food (hello apple pies and pumpkin everything), the holidays, and of course the fashion!  Since October begins tomorrow, I wanted to put together a list of top 10 things I want to do this season, including some of my fashion "must trys"!

10. Wear Plaid
You may find this strange, but plaid has never been my friend.  Or at least that's what I've told myself until now.  It's the quintessential fall print and I can't wait to add either a plaid shirt or scarf to my wardrobe.

9. Go Apple Picking
I love apple everything! So I'd love to get some apples and finally try to make a pie!

8. Find the perfect moisturizer
The cold weather gets to my skin, so I'm always on the lookout for the best moisturizers.  I can't live without L'occitane's Shea Hand Crème, and the other scents are great for the rest of the seasons.  Still searching for a face moisturizer and a lotion!

7. Wear Sweats to Work
No, I'm not talking about your traditional sweatpants and hoodie!  How amazing are the sweatshirt dresses that are out right now-both comfortable and fashionable!

6. Wear Red Lipstick
I love experimenting with makeup, but I usually go for understated lip colors.  I definitely want to be a little bolder with my selections this season and go for some color!

5. Decorate/Carve a Pumpkin
No explanation needed!

4. Add Leather to my Wardrobe
I just found a new sweater from New York and Company with faux leather details on the sleeves...needless to say I'm obsessed.  Definitely want more pieces for the fall.

Faux Leather Jogger | Lambskin Panel Pencil Skirt (way out of budget, but I love it so much!) | Metallic Sweater

3. Bring Out The Boots
I couldn't wait, I already wore boots this year.  But a girl can never have too many pairs, right?

2. Wear White
Winter whites are just perfect, and I can't wait to incorporate the color white into the season!

1. Build Up My Jacket Collection
Winter is coming...  I'll definitely start with some moto jackets and blazers for now!

What's on your bucket list?

Recently I had the chance to meet other bloggers at a Green Beauty Blogger Event at Juju Salon in Philadelphia!  If you haven't been to Juju, what are you waiting for!  They use only natural products with all of their services.  I've gotten a few manicures at Juju (they use Zoya!!) but I've been eyeing some of other services and this was the perfect opportunity to try something new...

The salon itself is adorable!

I decided to try an eyebrow wax.  When it comes to eyebrows, I'm not a huge fan of waxing; I prefer the precision of threading. Julie, the owner of Juju, happened to be the one to wax my brows and she did an amazing job.  It was quick, but Julie was precise with her application of the wax and it did not hurt as much as I expected it to!  The brows ended up shaped perfectly and it was a great experience overall.  Plus, Julie is so warm and welcoming, it's hard not to want to come back.  I would definitely love to try some of their services for hair!

Thanks Paige Wolf PR and Juju Salon for hosting this fun event!  Can't wait to visit again!

Services at this event were complimentary, but all opinions expressed in the post are my own!
