June 2014 - Paint The Town Chic
Delivery days are the best days, especially when you know the Golden Tote that you've been obsessively tracking is waiting for you on your doorstep!  Yes, it is quite the addiction.  For those of you unfamiliar with Golden Tote, it is a fashion subscription started by the designers of Puella!  Every month you have the opportunity to purchase two different totes:

$49-You choose 1 item and will be surprised with 1-2 additional items with a value of $200!
$149-You choose 2 items and will be surprised with 3-5 additional items with a value of $600!

I mean, I'm hooked from the front page of the site!  I loved what they did this month!  So again for June, (to the dismay of my wallet) I decided to go with the $149 tote because there were 2 items I really wanted!  And the funny thing is, this first item was one that I didn't particularly want until I started my tote purchase.

Venice Vacation Dress

Yup, that's the dress you see above.  I love, love, love this dress.  The pattern and colors are even more gorgeous in person and the crochet detailing adds that special touch to the back.   The unfortunate part is that it is a bit snug on the bottom.  I think this is a sign that I need to lay off the sweets!  Must...Fit...Into...This...Dress!

Resort Maxi
You just can't go wrong with a maxi, so I had to include this beauty in my tote as Chosen Item #2!  I went with the sunset color because I have way too much blue in my closet.  I'm not a huge fan of halters, but the detailing on this maxi really makes up for it!  I was also hoping the color would be a little brighter, but this will definitely be worn

Priddy Slouchy Pants
This is so out of my comfort zone that I knew I had to have it!  I originally put "no pants" in my style profile, but after the sneak peek of these pants, I quickly contacted customer service (they are amazing!) to ensure that I would receive these! And I got the printed ones, which I love.  They are beyond comfy and I can't wait to wear them out and about!

Eisley Tank
This black tank was the surprise item to compliment my Slouchy Pants!  I just love this tank, it's definitely a staple piece for my closet.  It's pretty simple, but I can see myself styling it in many ways, though I'm not so sure with the above!

Porridge Nautical Top
This is the only item that I'm on the fence about.  I love the print and the fit, but I don't love this shirt enough to call it a must have.  Though I am loving the nautical trend right now, so I may hold onto it unless a trade opportunity comes up!

Hourglass Lilly Wrap Dress
This is by far my favorite item in this month's tote.  I've never owned a wrap dress, and i just love this one.  It's comfy and flattering, not to mention the floral print is gorgeous!  As soon as I saw the sneak peeks, I knew I needed this.  I really like this brand and will hopefully receive future items from them!

I have to say, the ladies of Golden Tote really outdid themselves this month.  I wanted to share the items received in the tote here, so be on the look out as I style my newest Golden Tote pieces on the blog!  It may only be my second tote, but I really love every item that was included.  Check out last months review here.  If you like what you see and want to try Golden Tote, I would love for you to use my link and please share what you think about it!  I'm already looking forward to seeing what's in the July tote...

It's time to share what I'm loving in this week's Sunday Spotlight!  I'm a big fan of little details...they can really change the appearance of clothing.  Lately, I'm loving pom poms on everything!  Here are some of my favs:

Embroidered Pom Pom Tank, J Crew | Festive Flare Pom Pom Dress, Forever 21
Pom Pom Jumpsuit, ljcdesignss | Olea Floral Mix Pom Pom Scarf, Tory Burch |

Love all the prints and the delicate pom pom detailing!  I'm especially eyeing the pom pom rompers!  Have to add these to my wardrobe!

Who doesn't loves jewels, especially jewels that are up to 80% off!  Baublebar is having a summer sale right now.  There are some great steals available and pieces tend to go quickly!

I'm a sucker for pearls, bright colors, and whimsical details!  Here are some of my favs:

Hope you find some new treasures!  I would love for you to share your favorites below!

To me, yellow is the color of summer.  The color is so bright and cheery and looks great on everyone (it took me a while to embrace the color but I can't have enough yellow in my wardrobe!)  Here are some of my favorite picks in today's Sunday Spotlight:

Date With a Darling Dress, Modcloth | Sleeveless Polka Dot Print Skater Dress, Choies | P.a.r.o.s.h. Floral Embroidered Skirt, Farfetched | Lime Skort Playsuit, Miss Selfridge | Sunset Yellow Wedges, JustFab

And of course I couldn't resist this splurge!

I just love all the details on the above pieces, especially the shape of the skort and the vintage feel of the polka dot dress!  Can't wait to add a yellow maxi to my collection!  What is your must have yellow accessory?

Ipsy is just one of those subscriptions that I cannot wait for every month...and the sneak peeks don't help the addiction!  And I definitely don't wait to take a peek at my Glam Room every month, which reveals the products I am receiving in my bag!  This month's Glam Room selections were a definite hit!

Here is what was in my bag this month!

1.) NXY Butter Lips in Apple Strudel
I am conflicted on this-love the way this goes on but this is not really my typical color.  It's a pale pink, so maybe this would work with a darker eye.  It is also more sheer when applied, so I may try topping one of my lipcolors with this gloss.  It's not sticky, which I like, and they have a large variety of colors so I may try another shade.

2.) Be a Bombshell Lash Out Mascara
Mascara is my favorite beauty product-can't live without it!  I was so excited to see that this would be in my bag this month until I read some reviews that this product smells...and smells bad!  Be a Bombshell addressed the issue and assured customers that the product is not harmful, which I appreciated.  I figured I would still give it a try.  Ladies, just hold your breath when you put on the mascara (the smell does wear off) because the effects are worth it!  The brush was fantastic and really lengthened my lashes, and I'm pleased with the look.  I will be sure to follow up and see if if just this batch smells bad because I would consider purchasing again sans smell!

3.) Nicka K New York Shimmer Eyeline in Blue
This is the product of the month that I would never buy on my own but am so glad that it appeared in my Ipsy Bag!  I love the shade of blue, and it will be perfect for going out looks this summer.  It didn't smudge when applied and seems to be long lasting, though I will test that soon.

4.) Dove PureCare Dry Oil
I love Dove products, so I was excited to see a Dove product in my bag!  In fact, I currently have the matching shampoo and conditioner in my shower!  I had no idea that there was a finishing product in the same line!  I really like the smell of this and it makes my hair look so shiny and healthy!  Definitely recommend Dove products!

5.) RealTree for Her Eau de Parfum
I was worried when I saw this in my Glam Room, as I am very particular about scents (I really only like florals!)  But I like the way it smells, a little earthy with floral hints.  The light scent makes this the perfect everyday spray (even though I can never have just one scent!)  I've never seen this in stores, but would consider purchasing in the future if I did see it around!

Bonus...The Rebecca Minkoff for Ipsy Bag
And finally...this bag!  I can't tell you how cute this Rebecca Minkoff designed bag is.  I love the bold colors and fun tropical pattern, and this is perfect for the summer!  Of course I wish it was bigger so I could use it as a clutch, but this is one Ipsy bag that I will definitely be using again!

Loved the variety this month and the opportunity to try new items I wouldn't normally buy.  The $10/month price is definitely worth it.  If you like what you see and want to try Ipsy, I would love for you to use my link.  What is your favorite item from this month?

It's almost 90 degrees here today, and it sure feels like it.  Nothing was more perfect than this little mint number.  The colors...the flowy fit...it just felt like something I would wear to the beach!  Yes, it's wishful thinking, but a girl can dream!

Dress: Mint Sunflower Trapeze Dress, ShopBellaC (shop tunic here) | Belt: Old Navy |
Earrings: Old Navy | Bracelets: Kohls

I just love the print and the beaded detailing on this dess.  The loose fit also makes it perfect for this weather.  I will be wearing again before the summer is up!  What is your go to summer dress?

You can probably tell that I love color.   Well, my new favorite way to incorporate color is dip dying!  Theat colorful detail brings a unique touch to an otherwise staple piece of clothing! Here are some of my favorite items right now!

(top to bottom) Mint Julep Dip Dye Ombre Dress, Forever Anchored Boutique | Live & Let's Dye Dress Coral, Red Dress Boutique | Young, Fabulous & Broke Arnette Dip-Dye Romper, Urban Outfitters | Nantucket Ombre Pullover Sweater, Lilly Pultizer

And finally, this is not quite dip dyed, but I couldn't resist including in this week's roundup.  The print is to "dye" for...and it's a maxi.  I'm in love!

Maxi Dress, Hemline Houson

Loving this trend-it'll be so perfect for the summer!  Which of these is your favorite?
