March 2017 | Paint The Town Chic
Hask Greek Yogurt Hydrating Shampoo, Conditioner, and Deep Conditioner c/o

Let's talk haircare...the new Hask haircare Greek Yogurt line!  I've talked about Hask on Paint The Town Chic before (remember this?!) but I'm continually impressed and intrigued by the new products that they come out with.  So today I had to share about one of their newest line, the Greek Yogurt collection.

The packaging caught my eye immediately - it's so cute, right!  But the product itself was even more amazing.  I'm always looking for products that are moisturizing and full of healthy ingredients.  The Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner fit all of my requirements!  I had never used a dual tip dispenser for haircare, so it was fun to try out.

Both the shampoo and conditioner left my hair soft, shiny and moisturized!  I used both the shampoo and conditioner together and they complimented each other well.  I sampled the mask once but didn't notice much of a difference from the conditioner.  I loved the scent so much, it was light and fresh and perfect for the spring!  My only concern is that the bottle was sometimes hard to squeeze, especially after using the product a few times.

5 Reasons To Try the Hydrating Greek Yogurt Line

  • Leaves hair shiny and moisturized!
  • Dual tip for dispensing formula!
  • Fig and Honey are full of vitamins and nutrients!
  • Free of sulfates, parabens and other unwanted ingredients!
  • It smells so good!
I recommend trying out the new Hask Greek Yogurt Line!   If the Hydrating line isn't for you, there are 2 other options - Repairing Bluberry & Acai and Color Protection Cranberry and Pomegranate!
Which combo would you want to try?

Special thanks to Brandbacker and Hask for providing these complimentary samples.  All opinions shared above are my own.

Guys, we've had a bit of a hiatus but Gabrielle and I are back for a new year of Perfect Picks featuring pieces from Enclothe Boutique.  Make sure you are following the Facebook page to get first dibs on these pieces!  We hope these monthly posts give you some styling tips and inspire you to try a piece you may not have considered prior.

I personally think Gabrielle outdid herself with this month's selections (anyone else want one of everything?!)  Her picks are on trend for spring, but are so affordable!  She is also bringing back bundles, which I am super excited about.  But let's get on to the selections...

Embroidered White Dress (coming soon) | DSW Red Gladiator Sandals | Kendra Scott Collette Ear Jackets | UO Lariat Necklace

As we get closer to spring/summer I am also a huge fan of white dresses.  Of course anything with embroidery is also a must for the season.  Pair the two together and you have the perfect LWD.
Style Tip: Bring out the colors of the embroidery through your shoes or accessories!

I'm a huge fan of New York and Company denim (though I have not tried this pair in particular) and these ombre jeans would be perfect for this top!
Style Tip: Pair this top with some edgy printed shoes that have the same color!
Floral Cold Shoulder Top (coming soon) | Gray Skinnies (coming soon) | Chinese Laundry Larox Wedges | BaubleBar Lysander Pendant

Once again, Gabrielle and I agree on our love of floral prints.  This long sleeved top is perfect for transitioning into spring and the cutout details are a reminder that warm weather is coming and we're almost ready to show off a little skin!
Style Tip: Pair a casual fabric with a statement necklace full of bling for a fun contrast!

Gray and blush is one of my favorite color combos this time of year.  I was drawn to the gray floral tee.  The oxfords and mini are so unexpected and make for a fun weekend look!  I also love the Kate Spade rose gold Keds (which I own and love!)
Style Tip: Pair with rose gold jewels to stay with the blush theme!

Preview some of the other options on the Facebook page now!  Some of those options may look familiar as I styled the periwinkle lace dress here and the embroidered floral lbd here.  Sale starts tomorrow at 3pm EST!

Raise of hands, how many of you are enamored with the ruffle trend like me?!  Well a group of us PHLBlogger gals got together to style an outfit incorporating ruffles because we all love them too.  If you follow me on Instagram, you already saw a sneak peek of this fun collab but I'm so excited to share the full post with you today!
The Squad: Me, Guru of Moda Ninja, Kelsey of Bells + Whistles, EM of Lark + Lace, Sarah of SMooreLovin, Susan of SusanPadronStylist
H&M Ruffle Top Dress, similar here and here | H&M Metallic Midi Skirt, not available online | ZooShoo Heels | Victoria's Secret Crossbody

I fell in love with with this ruffled dress (yes, this top is actually a dress!) and knew it would be the perfect base for the metallic skirt.  It's simple yet the ruffle adds a bit of visual interest, and the best part is that no necklace is needed!  If you're wearing a piece with ruffles, make sure you let that detail shine by minimizing the accessories.  H&M had a few similar ruffled pieces online, some of which I linked below.

This story will also be featured in the next edition of Philly Streats Magazine!  I loved every single look and how we were all able to put together very different outfits revolving around one theme.  Be sure to check out the rest of the squad for the deets on their outfits!
EM | Lark + Lace
Sarah | SMooreLovin
Susan | Susan Padron Stylist
Guru | Moda Ninja
Kelsey | Bells + Whistles

And special thanks to EM's husband, Brendan, for putting up with us gals and taking these amazing photos!

We had so much fun that we've decided to do these collaborative posts more often.  Word is that the next theme is florals, which is one of my favorite prints ever!  Let me know below if you have any trend suggestions for us to try out!

This Ipsy review is a little late, and before I rip into my March bag (which arrived today!) I wanted to share the awesome products I tried out last month!  First off, how cute is this denim bag, which is so on trend for the season!
1.) Promise Organic Daily Facial Scrub
Of course I'm starting with my favorite item, the scrub.  The coconut milk collection is perfect for normal to combination skin!  It's a gentle scrub that leaves skin soft and moisturized!  Plus it's made with ingredients like organic sugar, honey and walnut shells.  This scrub has been added to my daily rotation and since Promise Organic can be found at CVS, I'll be looking for it the next time I'm in store!

2.) True Botanicals Resurfacing Moisture Mask
I hit the jackpot this month with 2 skincare products, especially since the full size mask costs the big bucks.  I only wish this came with instructions, though it was easy enough to find online.  It has a nice herbal scent and seems easy to use.  I'm saving this for use before a special occasion.
3.) Bella Pierre Volume Lash Mascara
Mascara is my favorite makeup item, so naturally I was happy to get a new one to try.  I have a few that are already open currently, so I will wait to test this one.  Don't worry, I'll be sure to report back if it's on par with my favorite mascaras!

4.) NYX Butter Lipstick in Ripe Berry
NYX is one of my favorite drugstore brands.  I got Ripe Berry, which looks dark at first glance.  I was happy to see that it's a pretty berry color that can be worn daily since it's not too dark, and yes, it's a perfect darker shade for spring!
5.) Trust Fund Nail Polish in $12 Latte
Trust Fund appears quite often in Ipsy bags, but this was the first time I received one of their nail polishes.  Since I had never tried this, I was excited to test it out.  I loved the color and formula, but I just wish I had gotten the blue shade.  This brown is much better for fall/winter and I'm looking for some new shades for spring.

I was definitely pleased with the February Ipsy bag!  The value of this bag way exceeds the $10 monthly cost!  But anytime I get new skincare products to try is a win, and all the other products are extras.  Since I loved the bag, I'm sharing a few other denim bag options below!  And stay tuned for a peek at the March bag on my Instagram page soon!

Who else is excited for the new Beauty and the Beast movie to come out?!  I'm loving all of the trailers I've seen so far.  So I had to dedicate this week's Sunday Spotlight to Beauty and the Beast inspired fashion!

When I think of clothing, of course the iconic yellow gown and the blue day dress immediately come to mind.  I'm really loving the mustard lace romper/dress that I've been seeing, and I thought it was the perfect way for us to incorporate a little of that elegance into our wardrobe.  In terms of the blue dress, my newest piece from Enclothe Boutique would be a great choice (check out the full post here!)  It's perfect for a causal stroll through town!  After a quick search, I saw that Kohls and some of the other stores also have clothing lines for Beauty and the Beast, many of them in a pretty, whimsical floral print.

Can't forget the accessories.  I am really crushing on Danielle Nicole's line of Disney inspired bags.  I want them all!  And for jewelry I love everything FemmeDeBloom creates!  Here is her list of Beauty and the Beast baubles.

I'm not one for sneakers, but how beautiful are those New Balance sneakers, one of three designs specially created for Beauty and the Beast.  I love the floral touch and the light denim finish!  Definitely a must have.

Are you going to incorporate Beauty and the Beast into your wardrobe?  If so, I'd love to know how!

Today I spent the day checking out the PHS Flower Show with my mom and sister!  I had a great time last year (see the recap here) and the Holland theme really intrigued me, so I had to check it out.  I loved how tulips, windmills, and bicycles were incorporated into so many of the exhibits!

Something else I learned is that PHS offers a variety of classes, like flower arranging and pressed flowers artwork.  Can you believe that those beautiful scenes below are made completely out of flowers?  I need to take that class!
The flower show runs from March 11-18.  I definitely recommend checking out this year's show!

Enclothe Boutique Lace Dress c/o (available on the Facebook Page Friday!) | Denim Jacket, old | ZooShoo Sandals | Chloe + Isabel Earrings, old but love these | Chloe + Isabel Bracelet | Crossbody, old

Ladies, today I'm excited to share my new favorite spring dress.  Does it look familiar?!  You may have spotted a very similar dress at Anthropologie.   As much as I want everything from Anthro, the price tag hinders me from pulling the trigger.  But in comes Enclothe with an option that is so pretty and super affordable!

The details on this dress are makes it stand out.  Periwinkle is one of my favorite shades for the season (remember this post), and the lace details are perfection.  Plus it's breezy and so comfortable.  I threw on a denim jacket and sandals to dress it down, but this will make a great option for bridal showers and other spring/summer gatherings.

What do you think of this dupe?  I'm really loving it!
