June 2016 | Paint The Town Chic
Tank, old | Autumn Olive Boutique Skirt, old (but check out some of the other amazing items here!) | Old Navy Denim Jacket, old | Golden Tote Crossbody (similar here) | Charlotte Russe Flats (similar here) | Chloe+Isabel Pendant (sold out, but love the turquoise in this!)

If this printed pretty looks familiar, it's because I've already styled it!  (Check out that post here!)  But the easy breezy style of skirt is so perfect for summer that I had to bring it out again.  This time I chose to highlight the turquoise in the skirt with the tank and necklace!  This skirt transitions well from work to a night out, which makes it a great staple.  I dressed it down with the denim jacket, but add a moto jacket or a cardigan to change up the look.

It's that time of month again.  Today Gabrielle and I are sharing some of favorite picks for the month and giving you some ideas of how to style them.  Need a refresher on how Enclothe works?  Check out this review about the boutique and the bundle process!  You'll note that there have been a few changes since the last post including a visual change in how the bundles appear online and the bundle options have been narrowed down to two options as well a new Create Your Own (I'm really loving this change!)

Now let's get to our picks...

This easy breezy dress is a must have for the hot weather.  Asymmetrical hems are so flattering for all heights because it creates the illusion of being tall!  The best part of this dress is the scoop back detail, which allows you to show off some skin for summer but also keeps arms moderately covered.  Keep in mind that you can dress this up or down depending on the occasion, making this the dress your closet has been waiting for!
Style Tip:  Add a fun pop of color for summer with the jewelry!

I love swing dresses.  They have become my go to, especially during the summer.  This dress makes an especially great cover-up for the beach and can transition into nighttime as well by throwing on a fun printed kimono and statement jewels!
Style Tip: These dresses are great all year.  Keep it simple for summer, but save for layering later in the year!

This versatile top is ideal to have because it can be styled so many ways!  This works great under a blazer for work, but can be styled casually with skinnies, pumps, and simple silver jewels for a night out!
Style Tip:  Accessorize with black and silver to let the orange pop!
Printed Tank with Crochet Overlay | Lavender Skinnies | Kelsi Dagger Wedges | BaubleBar Earrings

Last but not least, I had to choose a boho piece.  I'm loving all the details on the Crochet Overlay tank.  This tank can be paired with skinnies or shorts, and is perfect for any casual event.  Keep accessories simple for an easy and carefree look!
Style Tip:  Play up the purple in the top by pairing with purple skinnies, bag, or jewelry!

If you enjoyed this post, be sure to check out the May edition of Perfect Picks here.  I'd love to hear what pieces caught your eye this month in the comments below.

H&M Tank (on sale in store!  Can't find online, but loving these tanks as well!) | H&M Lace Skirt, old (love this and this) | Charlotte Ruse Sandals | Ipsy bag repurposed as clutch | Kyle Chan Designs Key Necklace c/o | Lilly Pulitzer, H&M, Kohls bracelets, old | Urban Outfitters Headband, old

I'm so excited to share the newest addition to my critter collection!  As soon as I laid eyes on this bird tank at H&M I knew I needed it.  The print and the shade of orange seemed so tropical and summery (and let me tell you, I am not typically a fan of orange!)  But...this is a great color to show off tans!  In addition to being adorable, this tank is part of the Conscious Collection, a line which utilizes sustainable materials and business practices!  I have a few other pieces from this line and love them and I really love the meaning behind them.

This tank really looks great with white, and since it's too hot to wear pants, I paired it with this lace skirt.  I love the contrast between the casual tank and the dressy skirt, it's perfect for summer.  I kept other accessories pretty simple.

Finally, I'm working on ways to repurpose my Ipsy bags.  Some of them are really cute and can be used for more than just a makeup bag.  I saw a DIY project in which someone added a chain to one of the bags and I loved it.  I may just have to try that.  If you have any other uses for Ipsy bags, let me know in the comments!

Happy First Day of Summer!  It may also be the most colorful day of the year - National Wear Your Lilly Day.  Just like many of you ladies (and some guys too!) I'm sporting one of my new favorite Lilly pieces today, the Levy Fit and Flare Skirt!
Golden Tote Tank | Lilly Pulitzer Levy Skirt in Ooh La La | Aldo Sandals, old | Lilly Pulitzer Beau Belt, old | Lilly Pulitzer Tassel Bangles (not available online)

Many people associate Lilly Pulitzer with preppy shift dresses, but there is much more to the brand!  As much as I love the shifts, I've been waiting for them to come out with a longer skirt and this one definitely fits the bill!  I think this print, and this skirt, are underrated.  The colors are so vibrant and I love the pink and yellow color combo.  It screams summer!  I hope there will be more skirts like this in the future!

Hope everyone had a great start to the week!

p.s. anyone else love the pretty prints the Lilly Print Studio creates?  I'm loving today's print of the sun, just in time for summer!

My June Ipsy bag is scheduled to be delivered any day now, but I 'm still catching up from the blur that was May!  You may have already seen some Ipsy reveals, but you'll have to check out one more because I loved this month's products and bag and just had to share.
1.) Hanalei Lip Treatment
I love trying new lip products, and this was a new to me brand that I was excited to test out.  The lip treatment offered similar effects to Vaseline.  It was so moisturizing without feeling greasy, and it had a nice light scent.  It's perfect to use throughout the day or for intense treatment before bed.  Looks like they also have a lip scrub which would compliment this well!

2.) Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure Skin-Clarifying Mud Mask
Yasss, a skincare item, my favorite type of item to receive!  And another brand I had never used before.  I love everything about this!  The mask really refreshed my skin, it smelled great and I loved the packaging!  I will definitely be trying some of the other masks as well!

3.) Hikari Cosmetics Shimmer Bronzer
I received the shade called Radiate-a warm rosy glow and I really loved this bronzer!  It was the perfect shade for my skintone.  The four shades blended together to create the perfect bronzed look.  This is going into the everyday rotation!

4.) Smashbox X-Rated Mascara
I haven't tried this yet because I currently have 3 mascaras open, but I love mascara so I'm excited to try it.  This mascara is said to create sky high lashes using a fiber loaded formula, so I will be trying this out soon!

5.) INSPR Beauty Eye Fluff Brush
It seems pretty standard to have some sort of tool every month, and this time I got another eye brush.  The Eye Fluff Brush is meant to blend eyeshadow seamlessly.  While I like receiving tools, I very rarely use eye shadow so this won't be that useful to me.  That being said, the bristles are very soft and the the brush looks very sleek.  Looks like the brand carries a variety of other beauty products which I'd love to try!

Lastly, a shoutout to this month's adorable bag.  I loved the theme, Destination Chic and the bag depicted various city landmarks.  This is definitely a keeper!  Stay tuned for a peek of the June bag on Instagram soon!

LC Lauren Conrad Skinnies (found mine in the sale rack in stores!) | Kohl's Elle Ruffle Tank, old | Booties, old | Target Crossbody, old | Glo Minerals Suede Crayon in Bombshell

A good pair of black skinnies can be hard to find.  But they are just so flattering, versatile, and can be worn in any season, which makes them a closet staple.  It took me a while to find the perfect pair (and for only $10 so I couldn't say no!) but I definitely have them on repeat already.  I've already worn these skinnies with a blouse to work as well as a night out!

I also recently discovered how amazing an outfit can look just by tucking in the shirt.  I was never one for tucking in, but this particular tank is slightly oversized so I loved the tailored look of tucking it in.  These skinnies are perfect for all body shapes, so tucking in the shirt shows off curves in a very flattering way!

Finally, I just have to give a shoutout to stylist Princess from Hush Salon.  I wanted to go lighter with my ombre for summer and she did a phenomenal job!  Aside from the talented stylists, the salon is just the cutest ever.  If you're in Philly and need to get your hair done, I recommend checking out Hush Salon!

Last week, I was fortunate enough to attend Career Wardrobe/Wardrobe Boutique's largest annual fundraiser with fellow blogger friend Tep from PreppyTeppy! Just as I imagined, it was such a fun evening of delicious refreshments, amazing auction items, and a fashion show featuring Career Wardrobe clients and local media personalities!

Just outside of the main event area were some fun raffles, and Marieta and Elizabeth were selling goodies from the Wardrobe Boutique.  One of the big announcements of the evening was that Career Wardrobe will now be outfitting men as well as women which means the boutique will also be accepting and selling menswear!
It was so inspiring to hear Executive Director Sheri Cole speak about the accomplishments of Career Wardrobe.  In addition to now assisting men, the Career Wardrobe has been selected as the sole provider of the PA Workwear program, which means they will be assisting double the amount of people as they do now!
The highlight of the event was the fashion show, which featured local celebrities such as Rick Williams and Monique Braxton as well as clients of the Career Wardrobe.  This was the first year that men was included in the fashion show!  Outfits modeled on the runway will be donated!
The evening ended with some special live auctions!  The icing on the cake was this Lilly Pulitzer Beach Cruiser that was the last item to be auctioned off! This one of a kind piece garnered a lot of interest (of course) and brought in a great donation for Career Wardrobe!
Just hearing about all the accomplishments and rewarding work that Career Wardrobe does was so inspiring and was a great reminder of why I continue to support them!  Hope to see you Philly area ladies soon at the boutique or even volunteering with the organization!
