Today I'm sharing a little secret about how I find great pieces at amazing prices.  Lately I've been doing a lot of my shopping through Facebook.  Yep, you heard right-Facebook!  These online "boutiques" post their pieces on Facebook.  Moxie Style is one of those groups that I shop, mostly during their amazing sales.  One of my most recent acquisitions are these Dear John floral jeans which I fell in love with immediately.  Aside from the amazing print, these jeans are the softest jeans ever, and they are just so comfortable.  I will definitely be looking for more from this brand.   I believe this particular style is older so I can't find these available anywhere, however I linked a few of my favorites including some fall florals below!

I'd been hoarding these floral pants for a while now, mostly because the search for the perfect top wasn't working out.  Believe me, I searched far and wide until I came across this pretty cold shoulder top just a few weeks ago.  I love the delicate ruffle at the neckline and as well as the longer hemline (which is perfect for printed skinnies!)  I love both of these pieces so much that I will be transitioning them into my fall wardrobe.

Cold Shoulders & Floral Pants

Esley Owl Skirt, from Moxie Style | White Tee | Fur Vest | Booties, old | Golden Tote Crossbody

I'm finally back with some new posts.  It's been a crazy busy few weeks, but I'm excited to catch up on some long awaited posts.  Today and I'm sharing a fun skirt that I scored from Moxie Style (one of my favorite online boutiques/subscriptions.)  I love whimsical critter prints, especially this owl print skirt.  I also like that it's a pleated chiffon fabric!

Long sleeved tees are a staple for any winter wardrobe.  This particular tee is from Kohls and comes in a variety of colors!  I love these because they are so comfortable and can be dressed up or down! I threw on the the fur vest (yes, I'm a little obsessed with it and can't stop wearing it!) to dress it up.  These are also a great price, so it's easy to stock up now!

Lastly, I'm obsessed with this cross body I recently snagged from Golden Tote final sale.  I'd been eyeing it for a while, and it was only $10 so I couldn't resist.  I really love the round shape; I don't have anything like this in my closet!  It's definitely worth keeping an eye on Golden Tote's sale section!

Whimsical Owl Print

I'm finally back with some new posts.  It's been a crazy busy few weeks, but I'm excited to catch up on some long awaited posts.  Today and I'm sharing a fun skirt that I scored from Moxie Style (one of my favorite online boutiques/subscriptions.)  I love whimsical critter prints, especially this owl print skirt.  I also like that it's a pleated chiffon fabric!

One Tunic...Two Outfits

I love versatile pieces that can be transformed into different looks.  It really comes in handy with the seasonal weather we have here.  As much as I would love warm weather all the time, I have so many dresses that I would love to continue wearing into the fall and winter.  So today I wanted to share two looks featuring the same tunic!

Here's a better look at the tunic being styled.  It's an Hourglass Lilly star print tank dress that's light enough for the spring and summer, but perfect for layering in cooler weather!  Personally I love this styled with a little edge and prefer it for fall styling opps, such as the following!

Comfy Oversized Sweater

As soon as I saw this sweater, I needed to have it!  This is part of Moxie Style's curate your own mystery tote (see here to purchase a tote!).  I've shared my love of Moxie before and this purchase justified my feelings on this great company.  

But let's chat briefly about how amazing oversized sweaters are.  I've paired them with jeans, dresses, leggings, everything really.  Because of the coloring on this sweater, I wouldn't pair it with any colorful pieces-the sweater is the standout piece here.  This sweater looks great open or closed with a belt.  I also love the asymmetrical shape-it works for even petite heights!  These oversized sweaters will transition great as the weather gets colder.

Something that Moxie recently offered was the FAME tote.  Moxie compiled a variety of items that we could vote on, and we were sent items from what we selected.  The process started in August and I received my tote in September; you can take a peek of the items I received below!  I choose the 4 item tote for $79 and received 2 dresses, a sweater and a tank.

From the quick snapshot of what I received, I seem to have a neutral color scheme going on, which is very unlike me!  But I received some quality items that I really like!  3 of the 4 items I voted on, but the floral tank was not one of my picks.  It was an adorable tank, and I usually love floral prints, but this particular tank just seemed boxy on me.  Most subscriptions are an all or nothing package.  If you don't like one item-you most likely have to return the entire thing.  Not so with Moxie.  For this FAME, they offered a trade in opportunity, and I was able to trade in the floral tank for the pocket cardi in black (seen in gray above) which was one of my initial requests!  I just received it this weekend and can't wait to wear it.

Since I've only styled the gray sweater, you'll be sure to see the other items here in coming weeks!

Moxie has so much going on that it can be confusing at times.  The best thing to do is to join the Facebook group and read the various posts to keep up!  Facebook is also how you'll find out about all the special sales and the newest items!  Regardless, you can be sure of getting quality clothes at a great deal anytime you purchase from Moxie!

Moxie Style Fame Experience

When it comes to clothing, an element of surprise can be refreshing.  That's why I love trying out subscription boxes.  I've been a fan of Golden Tote, but there are so many other sites out there.  Recently I've been testing out a few other clothing subscription sites, and while all have their appeal, there's one site that I keep gravitating towards - Moxie Style!  What makes Moxie different from others is the owner's honesty and transparency about the products and the stellar customer service!  She also has the best prices around.  You can check out some reviews on products I've received here, here, and here.

Fantastic Fawn Dress from Moxie Style (currently on sale!!) | Heels, old | Crossbody, old | H&M Tassel cuff, in stores

This dress is great for many reasons!  I love how light and airy it is, which makes it a great summer dress.  The hemline is fun and can be dressed up or down, and you can show off some fun shoes!  And of course I was drawn to the gorgeous colors.  The dress is very loose fitting, but because I'm so short, I needed to give it a bit of structure by adding the belt.  I bloused the top over the belt and loved the final look.  This will be a great brunch dress.  I would definitely add a jean jacket or a black moto jacket, but it's been way too hot to even think about wearing a jacket!

These shoes are a lucky find last year from a local Ross store!  I love the cutouts, and these are surprisingly comfy!

Colorful Hi-Lo Dress

This dress is great for many reasons!  I love how light and airy it is, which makes it a great summer dress.  The hemline is fun and can be dressed up or down, and you can show off some fun shoes!  And of course I was drawn to the gorgeous colors.  The dress is very loose fitting, but because I'm so short, I needed to give it a bit of structure by adding the belt.  I bloused the top over the belt and loved the final look.  This will be a great brunch dress.  I would definitely add a jean jacket or a black moto jacket, but it's been way too hot to even think about wearing a jacket!

The other special purchase was this dress.  I first laid eyes on it through Golden Tote, a clothing subscription that I like to partake in every now and then (check out some previous reviews here, here and here.)  Lately I've found GT to operate differently, mostly because their customer base has grown so quickly.  There are a few other reasons that make GT not as appealing anymore (nothing major that would stop me from buying a tote in the future) but that's not an issue because there are a few new players in the clothing subscription world that I can't wait to test out!

Moxie Style is the first subscription outside of GT that I've tried and so far I really, really like what it's all about.  My first mystery box was a curated set of 3 pieces including the butterfly dress seen above!  Al three were requests that were fulfilled!  I specifically ordered the tote for the butterfly dress, but I'm sure in the future I'll want some surprises as well.  The curators really look at your profile and choose pieces that work for your personality and preferences!  They are constantly improving their subscription based on feedback from the Facebook page, which means a lot as a customer!  Moxie Style recently came up with a new curated tote called Fame! (which I of course ordered) so I will share more on that process when my tote arrives in September.  Fall Fame! totes sold out in record time, but Moxie plans to offer it again in the spring.

Seeing Butterflies + The Scoop on The Moxie Style Subscription

Today I'm excited to show off two of my most recent purchases that I am beyond obsessed with.  Finding these Dolce Vita booties was pure luck as these appear to be from a previous season.  I love the chunky heel and the peep toe; these will transition well into the fall!  I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot of them over the next few months!  Since we're on the topic of fringe, the H&M Fringe Cuff above is adorable and a total steal at less than $6!  H&M is really on point lately.
